Spotkanie w Pracowni u Czarownic

Melon Painting

On March the 25th 2011 the first event within the project "Seniors Going Out" took place . A group of 20 Seniors went to „Café Melon" on Inżynierska St in Warsaw. After coffee and delicious carrot cake, Seniors heard the short lecture about the history of an egg in the culture (with reference to approaching holidays). Then the whole group went to the City Housewife's Group (3 Inżynierska St), where the painters' workshops took place. The classes was led by Joanna Świerczyńska – painter, graphic and interior designer. The introduction to the secrets of painting, to principles of the composition and the usage of paints, extremely helped in quite good painting a dead nature– an egg, tulips and a chicken! The greatest discovery was a possibility of relaxing oneself during the painting! Delicious dumplings filled with cheese and potatoes, consumed again in „Café Melon", finished the whole event.
