The “PROJAN” Waksmundzki Family Foundation was established on January 13, 2009. Its Founders are members of the Waksmundzki Family, who reside in Warsaw and in Upper Silesia:

Joanna Waksmundzka, the daughter of Jacek and Iwona Waksmundzki, still a minor in 2009, is also an informal Founder. In accordance with the Founders’ wishes, Joanna Waksmundzka shall become a member of the Council of the Foundation upon reaching the age of maturity.

Establishment of the PROJAN Foundation is the result of many years of spontaneous charitable work carried out by the Waksmundzki Family. The Foundation is a non-governmental organisation that aims to contribute to the development of Polish society in areas such as health protection, social care and aid, education and upbringing, culture and art, preservation of historic monuments, environmental protection and economic growth and promotion of science, and especially to undertake activities aimed at promoting the progress of civilisation and combating social exclusion.
