Holiday in Zakopane Print E-mail

In June the Foundation organized and financed holiday in Zakopane for the children from the Family Children’s Home in Białogard. The children were living in the holiday resort in Antałówka, from where spreads out the beautiful view of Tatry. The following attractions were organized for children:

  • the visit in Aqua Park and in Termy in Bukowina Tatrzańska;
  • trips with the guide:

I.     „History and romance of Zakopane”: The Old Market Square of Zakopane inter alia: the ancient restaurant "U Wnuka", The Church, The Cemetery at Pęksowy Brzyzk, Kościeliska Street, Koliba Residence and The Museum of Zakopane Style, Krzeptówki, Immaculate Heart of Mary Chapel, the market at Gubałówka, uphill ride by the switchback to Gubałówka, Żelazny Krzyż, downhill ride by the switchback from Gubałówka;

II.   „Kościeliska Valley”: walk along Kościeliska Valley, visiting Mroźna Cave, walk along Hala Pisana, climbing up;

III.  „Kuźnice, Kalatówki, Hala Kondratowa”: visiting Kuźnice, walk to Kalatówki, Reglowa Glade, tramp at Hala Kondratowa;

IV.   „Strążyska Valley”: walk along Strążyska Valley, Strążyska Glade and Siklawica waterfall;

V.    „Morskie Oko”: tour from Zakopane to Palenica Białczańska, ride by the horse tram to Włosienica Glade, tramp to Morskie Oko and walk along the lake;

VI.   „Rafting in Dunajec”: ride across Nowy Targ to Dębno, visiting the ancient church, ride to Niedzica, visiting the castle in Niedzica, ride to Sromowiec Kąty, rafting in Dunajec;

  • Folkloristic Evening – the meeting in regional Inn with mountaineer’s musicians – the presentation of mountaineer’s cuisine, instruments from Podhale, elements of mountaineer’s costume and dance;
  • walks along Krupówki Street, ride by britzka, plays and games.

On the turn of June and July the Foundation organized and financed holiday in Gdańsk for children from Foster Family from Rudołtowice. The children were living in holiday resort out of the city centre, at the beach in Jelitkowo. Apart from sunbathing the following attractions were organized for children:

  • trips:

I.     to the Zoo in Gdańsk Oliwa (tour by the small railway, small amusement park, feeding the animals in Small Zoo);

II.    to the Park in Oliwa (visiting the Church and ancient organ);

III.   to Sopot (walk along the mole in Sopot and walk along the Bohaterów Monte Cassino Street, going up the lighthouse);

IV.   to Gdynia (visiting Gdynia Aquarium and sailing-ship „Dar Pomorza”);

V.    by the Galeon to Westerplatte (visiting Old Market Square);

VI.   to Szymbark („Odwrócony Dom”, the longest plank of the world, „Dom Sybiraka”, „Bunkier Gryfa”);

VII.  by the water tram to Hel (visiting the lighthouse and Fokarium);

  • the visit in Aqua Park;
  • exhibition of sand sculptures at the beach;
  • walks from Gdańsk to Sopot;
  • séance in the cinema.

In may 2010 the Foundation provided financial support to five children from Foster Family from Rudołtowice for series of vaccination. This financial support was one of the activities in the programme “Prorodzina”, which was started on December 22, 2009 by the resolution number 1 of the Board of the Foundation.

The Spring Weekend in Bałtow

Since 2010, the Foundation has been financially supporting Foster Family from Rudołtowice. The Foundation invited children with their foster parents for a weekend in Bałtów – to Jurassic Park (07-09.05.2010). The tour program included: tour around Jurassic Park, visiting Bałtów Zoo, rafting in Kamienna river and séance in 5D cinema. The detailed program of this trip is shown below.

PROJAN Foundation supported the “Young Praga in Auction” event 

  • The PROJAN Foundation supported the Mierz Wysoko Association, which has organised an auction of works by children attending the Youth Club on Brzeska Street. The “Young Praga in Auction” event took place on November 29, 2009 at the “Obiekt Znaleziony” club-café in the basement of the Zachęta art gallery in Warsaw

    Apart from participating in the auction, during the meeting the guests were also able to enjoy:

    • a performance by children from Brzeska Street,
    • a performance by stars from the “Poland’s Got Talent” television show: Kamil Dziliński – Dzielny with a juggling show and Piotr Boruta accompanied by Czocher.

    Autumn weekend in Warsaw Print E-mail

    Since 2006, the Waksmundzki family has been financially supporting and cooperating with the Family Children's Home in Białogard. The Foundation invited children from the Family Children's Home in Białogard for a weekend in Warsaw (20-22.11.2009).
